Camping at Oceano Dunes SRVA (State Recreational Vehicle Area); take your trailer and vehicles and camp right on the beach!

Oceano Dunes SRVA (State Recreational Vehicle Area) is 56 miles south on Pacific Coast Highway 1 of the Hearst Castle Visitors center but is so incredible and offers a camping experience which is so unique I thought it should be included on the list of campgrounds near Hearst Castle. This is one of the few California beaches where you can actually take your RVs right down on the beach and camp right on the sand. Oceano Dunes is also one of the few places you can borrow a wheelchair which can go on the beach right down to the waters edge.
